For the past 18 months we have been raising funds towards the essential restoration works for our St Helens Church Amotherby. We have with great help and support from our community raised enough funds to begin this important work.
We have been granted permission from Bishop John to allow temporary suspension of services at St Helens for a period of three months to allow the work to proceed safely.
Services will be suspended at St Helens from Wednesday 1 November 2023 for a period of approximately three months.
We hope to be able to recommence services at St Helens Church early in the New Year.
We will still hold a Eucharist for November and December but this will be at our mother church All Saints Appleton, details to follow.
Our annual Christingle service will be held at Amotherby Parish Hall this year at the slightly later time of 5.00 pm
