21 March 2021 – Fifth Sunday of Lent

In-person Sunday services have now resumed. Follow this week’s recorded service from St Helen’s Amotherby in the regular service book and in the downloadable reading sheet.

Next Sunday is the start of Holy Week with Palm Sunday. There will be a 9am Eucharist at Amotherby, with a 10:30am United Service with the Methodists in the Slingsby churchyard. The 9am service will be recorded.

Most merciful God,
who by the death and resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ
delivered and saved the world:
grant that by faith in him who suffered on the cross
we may triumph in the power of his victory;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
